Ajay, a businessman, provides funds to Sarjuprasad to develop his hometown. When he learns that the money has been misappropriated by Sarjuprasad, he resolves to set things right.

The film is based on the turmoils of the family of a postmaster. The film presents the rift between the family due to clash of egos among the children and their parents.

When Raja and Asha get married, they realise that Raja's income is not sufficient for them and their two children. Asha then decides to get a job while Raja stays at home to look after the children.
