Ben Munoz was born and raised in San Bernardino, California. He entered the United States Marine Corps at the age of 20 in 1980 and served for six years. At the age of 21, he was diagnosed with bone cancer. He had surgery about a year later, and he's been cancer free ever since. After the military, he started his own Window Tinting Business and it has thrived for over 20 years. Another business opportunity came to him in 2013, when he asked an actor to help support a group of young ladies that participated in the Face of USA pageant. That actor then asked him to audition for a role for an upcoming film and Ben pursued it. Ben got that role, and from there he started his acting career. He has been several films like Joker Rising, The Second Coming of Christ, Where Birds Don't Fly, Narco State, and was even the lead role in Don Chuy. He also acted and produced the film, A Father's Journey. While acting in Hollywood, he realized that he wanted to start his independent film company that specially put Latino actors in the spotlight. His company, Elite Image Productions, has been apart of some of his projects. This included a Doritos commercial for the "Crash the Superbowl 2015" contest, that he produced. He is always working on upcoming projects and will be featured in a few movies releasing in 2015 like Exile Corporation and What Child is This. In his spare time, Ben is active in the community and puts together many events to support the Latinos as well as charity events for people with life threatening diseases like diabetes and cancer.
