Benjamin was born in Harrisburg, PA. After spending the next seven years growing up in Lawrenceville Georgia, he and his parents, Matt and Kimberly Singel moved to Grapevine, TX. Ben went to Southlake Carroll High School, where he was very active in theater. His efforts got him several award nominations including a Schmidt and Jones nomination for "Best Ensemble Member", and two Betty Buckley nominations, one for "Best Actor" and one for "Best Supporting Actor". In 2016, He took home the "Best Actor" award for the UIL One-Act Competition for his portrayal of Nick Carraway in "The Great Gatsby". After graduation, Ben continued pursuing his theatrical studies at the Southern Methodist University. He was in many successful SMU productions including Kara-Lynn Vaeni's "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead" (2018) and Blake Hackler's "Tartuffe" (2017). Benjamin transitioned from the stage to the screen with the role of "Job" in his first ever feature length film "The Book of Job"

The latest of his works include the American produced film "Gore" staring Kevin Spacey, and the international series "The Name of The Rose", based on Umberto Eco's bestseller from 1980 and currently a new Spaghetti Western series produced by Bron Studio that will be released in 2022!
