Claudia Kai (born August 25, 1998) is an Asian-Canadian actress based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Kai was born and raised in Richmond, British Columbia until the age of nine. She then lived in Hong Kong for seven years, studying with a full-ride academic scholarship at the French International School 'Victor Segalen' of Hong Kong. There, she had been a competitive figure skater. She had gone up to ISU Level 8 and then became a competitive ice hockey player. She went on to win City Leagues and Championships, represented Hong Kong in tournaments across Asia, and won 'Best Defensive Player' and 'Most Valuable Player' in 2011. In 2014, she moved back to Canada. In 2016, she graduated with academic awards and honors at Kitsilano Secondary School. She later went on to study English, psychology and religion at the University of British Columbia with a full-ride academic scholarship. After two years of university and offers that catered towards a path in law, she decided to dedicate time on pursuing a childhood dream - being an actress. Outside of acting, Claudia Kai is an avid fan of the outdoors, sports (including skating, swimming, yoga, martial arts), reading, and watching movies and anime. She speaks fluent English and Cantonese, and is proficient in Mandarin and French.

Her Father being a gifted painter and her Mother a notable poet naturally led to Claudia's pursuit of all things artistic at a very early age. Claudia Lee was born in West Lafayette, Indiana. As a little girl watching TV and film, she dreamed of being an actress, and loved performing. She began acting as a child in minor stage productions, as well studying dance. Lee also speaks Polish. Growing up listening to her father and her older relatives converse, she realized that they wouldn't be around forever. Lee was adamant about connecting with her Polish roots, so her parents sent her to a school in Poznan, Poland for one month each summer to study the language. At the age of thirteen, Lee studied acting and filmmaking with the New York Film Academy at the School of Cinema and Performing Arts in Vermont. In 2009, Lee and her family made the move to Los Angeles where she began taking acting classes and working immediately. Her first job was a national TV commercial for "Comcast", with Zachary Levi. Next came the recurring role of "Bridget" on the Disney XD series, Zeke and Luther. More recently, Lee recurred on Freeform's drama Famous In Love opposite Bella Thorne. She had Series Regular roles on both Verizon Go90's comedy In The Vault, as well as Fox comedy Surviving Jack. Prior to which she spent four seasons on The CW's Hart Of Dixie. In film, Lee appears in Lyle Mitchell Corbine, Jr's Wild Indian which premiered at the 2021 Sundance film festival and stars Jesse Eisenberg and Kate Bosworth. Lee is also known for her Co-Starring role opposite Chloë Grace Moretz in Universal's Kick-Ass 2. In addition to acting, Lee is also a country music singer. She recorded her first song, "It Gets Better", which was inspired by the "It Gets Better" campaign against bullying in schools. After completing "It Gets Better", Lee recorded a country music album which was released in 2012.
