James developed a love for acting at a very young age. It all began when his family told him that he looked and acted like Macaulay Culkin in Home Alone. At the age of 7, James began acting in an annual play of A Christmas Story at a German club that his grandfather was a member of. Speaking only in German, that was James' first taste of acting. He went on to perform in numerous school productions in elementary school, joining the drama club in middle school and high school. In college, James dabbled in theater, as well as studying improvisation. He formed a sketch/improv comedy troupe, Blank Men Walking and spent three years touring around, performing at numerous theaters, universities, and NYC comedy clubs. Aside from acting, James is also a stand up comedian and avid writer. He has written five full screenplays, along with 300 sketches for his comedy troupe, and is head writer for Fakin' It, a comedic sitcom that he co-created. James can be seen in the Foo Fighters music video Arlandria and Stalked: Someone's Watching on The Discovery Channel. He has also appeared in NBC's The Celebrity Apprentice and a short feature for the United States Army. James has also worked on the feature films New Years Eve and The Dark Knight Rises. James has studied under Ali Farahnakian, ex-writer for SNL, for comedic improvisation at People's Improv Theater, as well as Tori Visgilio, casting director for One Life To Live, for acting for soap operas at Actors Connection. He is currently studying under his acting coach Hank Schob at Penny Templeton Studios in NYC.
