Jameson Macmillan grew up in Lynchburg, VA. until moving to Knoxville, TN. in 1997. While in Lynchburg he attended E.C.Glass High School and graduated in the year 1981. After which, he worked several odd jobs until starting a career in the commercial construction field as a carpenter/supervisor between years of 1984 to 1998. Also while living in Lynchburg he obtained his Private Pilots License in the year 1991. While working as a commercial construction foreman in Tennessee he attended ITT Technical Institute and graduated in the year 2000 with an AAS in Electronics Engineering Technology. In 2001 he was recruited by a leading semiconductor company and moved to Rio Rancho, NM. where he was employed for 6 years before being laid off, with many others, due to corporate down sizing. Between 2009 and 2011 he attended ITT Technical Institute in Albuquerque and graduated highest honors in the bachelors program for Information System Security. As of 2014 he began an acting career as a Background Artist in New Mexico ' s film and TV industry.
Jameson was born in Holyoke, Massachusetts on January 17, 1991. Due to his dad's profession, Jameson was able to live in many places. After living in Massachusetts, Florida, Connecticut, and Ohio, his family settled in Atlanta, Georgia where Jameson found his passion for acting. He attended Atlanta Workshop Players as a full time student and at AWP's summer Camp Destiny. After performing for his elementary and middle school, Jameson attended North Springs High School's Performing Arts Magnet program in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2006 Jameson, along with his brother and others from North Springs High School performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. During a trip to Los Angeles with AWP's Hollywood Bound program, Jameson was invited to work in Los Angeles. Jameson also is a member of the band, Jameson Moss and the Thrillers. When not performing Jameson takes classes in music at Santa Monica College.

During a recuperative year off, he acted and worked in production at the Arena Stage in Washington, D.C. and he returned to finish his Beloit degree in theater arts in 1972. After graduation, he moved to New York, getting his first big break in a commercial for a breath mint. It helped him to get his role on the NBC soap Somerset (1970), which led to a two year part on ABC's One Life to Live (1968). He moved to LA in 1980. He loves camping and hunting.
