Katie Cook

Katie Cook is an actor and a writer known for "Push Notifications", "The Originals" and "Nashville". Katherine Laura Cook was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Dr. Jeff and Julie Cook. She is the oldest of three siblings. Her family resides in Nashville, Tennessee. Better known as Katie Jane, she began preforming and acting in middle school plays as part of the dance team. Katie continued on various sports and performance teams all the way through college. Cook graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor's degree in Apparel Merchandising and an International and a Dance minor. Katie then moved to New York City to intern with internationally renowned fashion house Oscar de la Renta. Following her career in corporate fashion, she moved back to Nashville to pursue acting and writing full time. Upon her return to the Southeast, Cook began acting in and writing for film and television. Her career has brought her roles in International tech company campaigns and spots for streaming and cable programs including "The Originals" on The CW and "Nashville" on CMT. Katie splits her time between Nashville and Los Angeles.
