Katina Forte

Katina Forte was born in Belize, Central America. She came to America with her family as a child and grew up in Jersey City. She started acting at a young age staring in school plays and local productions. Along with Theater productions came commercials and a modeling career. In addition to acting, Katina was successful in the news industry as an anchor/reporter followed by her stint as a QVC and ShopNBC host. She decided to leave her successful Hosting career and focus on her acting. While driving to California, she found out that she had booked a role on "General Hospital" that was shooting the next day. After driving with her husband all night, she arrived on set in time to shoot. She was a working actress on her first day in LA. She currently is bi-coastal, splitting her tine between coasts. She can be seen in episodes of "Scandal", "Being Mary Jane", "The Catch", "The First Purge", "The Fosters", "The Blacklist", "The Bold and the Beautiful"and "New Amsterdam" along with other titles. She is so happy to be living her dream and also continuing to write, direct, and produce other projects.
