Overview Born - Aizu-Wakamatsu in Fukushima Prefecture in Japan. Birth name - Yusuke Bunasawa Height - 5ft. 10in. Mini Bio Yusuke Bunasawa was born in Aizu-Wakamatsu in Fukushima Prefecture in Japan. Kelly was the name his aunt gave him when he first moved to the States. He grew up in Itabashi-Ku, a district in Tokyo. Growing up, Kelly was often bullied and ostracized during his grade school days for having atopic dermatitis. Concerned about Kelly's dermatitis, his father decided to risk uprooting the family and move to the United States. The family lived in Irvine, California for a short-term and then moved to Costa Mesa, CA where he would spend his elementary school years through his Sophomore year of high school. At 16, the family moved to West Covina, CA. Kelly attended California State University Los Angeles and majored in Political Science. Initially he wanted to get involved in politics; signed up for an internship with the California Legislature, however, his father insisted continuing the family owned business and Kelly decided to forgo his pursuit of politics. In the mid 90's he became a licensed insurance broker. After his father's death in 2003, Kelly became the owner/proprietor of the insurance brokerage and continues to operate the business to this day His interest with acting started in the early 2000s', however, due to work commitments, he decided to shelve that plan. Kelly finally got into acting after a discussion with the family doctor during an annual physical. He was reluctant at first; however, decided to dive into it and see how far he could push the envelope in the acting realm. After several weeks of training: he went to about a dozen or more auditions before landing the role for a commercial. In 2020, he was featured in a short film, podcast and music video.
