Ken teaches improv, clown and public speaking at The Second City.

Ken Heang was born on September 3rd, 1980, as a refugee in Thailand after his parents fled Cambodia at the end of the Khmer Rouge regime from 1974-79. He came to the United States as a sponsored refugee in 1984 and became a naturalized US citizen. Ken grew up on American TV/Film, and Chinese dubbed films. It was his childhood dream to work in Hollywood. When he was young, his dad taught him to be photogenic and always be ready for the camera. As a kid, Ken enjoyed skits and plays. In college, Ken had a romantic lead role at UC Irvine in a Cambodian Culture Play. It was a huge success as over 500 attended. Ken has been working as a background actor for many major TV shows for over ten years and is a member of SAG-AFTRA. He has always been committed to working on his craft and has studied under many Acting Teachers and Vocal Coaches.
