Orlando Moguel Granados, born on April 14th, 1973, is a Mexican actor and producer. Moguel studied drama in 1997 at "Centro de Teatro y Danza", now called "El Circulo Teatral de Alberto Estrella". He continued his studies with film directors, Arturo Ripstein, Felipe Cazals, Ignacio Ortiz Cruz, Jorge Zepeda and acting coach Raúl Zermeño (RIP). Orlando began his professional career in 2000 and focused more on film and TV series. He opposite Tim Roth in the film "600 miles" (2015) a mexican drama film. It was screened in the Panorama section of the 65th Berlin International Film Festival where it won the award for Best First Feature. "600 miles" was shortlisted by México to be their submission for the Academy Award Oscar®, for Best Foreing Language Film at the 88th Academy Awards. The film won the Ariel Award and was nominated for Best First Fiction Film at the 2016 Platinum Awards. Roles in Sleepy Hollow, Pride & Prejudice and Hysteria quickly followed, with Orlando winning high praise from critics and fans alike for his portrayal of Def Leppard lead singer Joe Elliott. He was also a series regular on Britons top rated television series. Orlando regularly travels back and forth between Los Angeles and London; He also speaks fluent French and has mastered a wide variety of dialects including a perfect American accent.
